Dirt - Thermostat Leaking

Garbage flows like a sieve. I didn't use an adhesive pad as it is a "premium pad", coolant leaks from the 78MGB thermos body. Making pods again out of an old cereal box, as my father told me, and that took years. Too bad I can't return it, how can I return a seal that rips when removed?

Pros

With a Stant Stat Lok gasket holding the thermostat in place, the thermostat will not fall out or move which could cause the exhaust molding mounting flange to crack.
