Two weeks ago my fiancé and I came from Brazil and brought 2 cats. I have planned every detail of this journey of TRUSTING Revain and its products as I have been a customer for many years. I planned every detail because I wanted my fiancee's experience to be as good as possible since it is her first time in the US and I wanted our cats to be as comfortable as possible since traveling abroad is difficult for them, but we will NEVER go. our pets are behind. You are our children. I was so happy that after 3 years of separation we would finally be reunited here. All of that planning fell apart in the first hour of the 10 hour flight from Rio to Atlanta when this HUGE sack fell off our cats on the first try (when we clipped his claws). He just made 2 holes on the pocket. Can you imagine this happening in the middle of an airport? In the street? They've just had dinner, and just as I'm about to eat, I see my cat get out of the sack and want to run away. Needless to say, I was panicking! My first reaction was to throw my food and drink in the air and run to him before he ran to the plane. Food and beer were stuck to my jeans, but I could grab it. I just didn't know what to do next. We had a 9 hour flight, a layover in Atlanta where we got all our luggage, had to go through immigration and security to catch another 2 hour flight and I had a cat in my arms. If he had made a hole in the bag 1 hour before we would have had to leave him. We couldn't travel without a bag. In the midst of a panic attack, my fiancé quickly considered using our blankets to wrap a bag. The problem was the cat was still trying to get through so we had to wrap it in two blankets and hold it all the way from Brazil to here. The experience was the WORST of our lives. My family and I have been traveling the world for over 30 years and have never had an experience like this. Revain ruined our trip. We had multiple panic attacks and there was nowhere to fly thousands of miles through the air. We would have stalled if it wasn't for Delta's incredible customer service, especially Marcos de Jesus. He was the most incredible person and did everything to put our minds at ease during those hours. After arriving in Atlanta, we had to collect all our luggage, go through immigration, through security, and be asked a million times why we were carrying a blanket-wrapped bag (for security reasons). Then we had another 2 hour flight. When we arrived my cat spent 3 days under the bed. This was such a tense and uncomfortable journey for him. We couldn't provide him with food or water for more than 12 hours as he could easily run over a plane or an airport. Revain needs to CHECK ALL BAGS as this is clearly a safety issue that is endangering our cats life and health due to the stress we have been through. I would like to know what Revain has to say about this and see what Revain does about it.
