As a STEM lab teacher, it's important to introduce hands-on science to my students, but I don't have a lot of lab equipment. This already mixed solution was perfect for my 5th graders to watch a chemistry experiment. We added the iron to the solution and the students should have seen bubbles and a single displacement reaction that left the iron plated with copper. It was perfect.
