You should definitely have stock on the 883 Low. My girlfriend had a hard time touching the ground with this bike and this 110% solved the problem. I didn't think there would be much of a difference if I just cut the shock length by 1 inch, but it really changed the entire profile of the bike. Installation and testing took about 45 minutes in total. While the quality of the shocks is very good, the painting or powder coating process (whatever they use) has flaws. Both shocks had small areas where the paint/coating around the top of each shock was chipped to metal, but only on one side of each. I had contacted the manufacturer and they seemed willing to help but my girlfriend wanted them ASAP. I have a feeling that they would replace her for me.
