Great buy for people on a budget!

For reference, I have a Gosky 20-60x60 scope from a few years ago that costs about $100 now. I used an old scope to compare it to this new and improved scope. I think Gosky is a great optical company for people on a budget like me. In fact, I have binoculars for my wife that exceeded my expectations for the money. I've compared them to my Bushnells and they hold up in every category. Advantages: More clarity in the near and far range. The new scope was much sharper after my 400 yard test. The picture is also a bit brighter. The focus wheel has been improved, which is actually very nice. If you look at the photos posted by Gosky you will see that there are 2 sections on the focus wheel. One to get closer to focus and the other to focus on what I call details. This is actually a very cool feature. You can use a sharp focus dial provided you are way out of focus and then use the detail focus dial to get a really sharp image without shaking your scope as the dial rotates very smoothly. The eyepiece has been enlarged. At first I wasn't sure if I would like it, but upon testing it turned out to be one of the key advantages over the old scope. I use mine for long range hunting and shooting, the wider eyepiece means less strain on your eyes when staring into the glass for long periods of time. It also made it easier to see without having to spend a lot of time focusing your eyes on the object you were aiming at. This was a huge improvement. The eyepiece rotates to stretch like the old one, which is a great feature. The zoom button works smoothly as it should. The side-to-side adjustment of the visor also works well and rotates very smoothly. The new smartphone holder is really nice and comfortable and a huge upgrade from the last version. I don't use the retractable sun visor/rain cover that often, but it's a nice feature just in case. There is a zipper at the bottom that opens to attach to a tripod mount. The new scope outperformed the old one in every way, with the exception of a few key drawbacks. older. I weighed the old one at 2 pounds 8 ounces. The weight of the new scope is 3 lb 13 oz. For those who carry their scope in their backpack, this makes a big difference. Lens cap: The new lens cap looks good at first glance, but it needs improvement. It fits perfectly in the scope, the hardest part is removing it from the scope. He almost gets stuck on the scope. I actually tied a small loop of paracord to the lens cap where they left a hole in the lens cap and it comes off a little easier now. They also didn't have a leash like the old ones. Overall the new scope is a huge improvement and I would recommend it to anyone looking for something solid and reliable at this price point.
