Buying shoes for my 11 year old is almost impossible! He has outgrown children's shoes, and adult men's shoes are often "too tight" and "uncomfortable". We have tried sooo many well-known brands. They fit him so well and are very comfortable! They also appear to be well built. I mean they aren't Nike but still awesome! We bought him 2 pairs so he wouldn't wear one out too quickly, but true! As active as he was, he never complained about aching legs or anything! Also, I find them pretty cute to slide on tennis shoes.
