These valves work great and cost a lot less than camelbak valves. They're made out of rubber which is a little thinner so I'm not sure how they compare (haven't had them in a while). The opening in the bite valve is smaller, allowing less water to escape, but it can easily be enlarged. Basically we are satisfied.
