Got this for a beagle dog that I just got custody of because my daughter was posted to Germany. He kept barking when they let him into the backyard, but he now realized that this was unacceptable. I've never had to use anything like this in training, but attempting to retrain an adult dog proved quite a challenge. He has learned this very well from things that are unacceptable. Highly recommended
