It's funny because the size and weight of the tube is very misleading. You can do a lot with this container. We had it for about a month and fixed the broken pieces of wood with air dried clay, a few screws and then painted. My daughters love making their favorite cartoon characters and other crafts. Not only is it fun to sculpt, but it's just as fun to draw. In my experience, it takes a good 72 hours to cure, but it can be painted much sooner; actually right after the outer clay shell has dried. The finished product is like a firm foam with a very pleasing tonal feel and smooth texture. Overall we are very happy with the results of air dried clay in our many projects. A bit of clay goes a long way, so you really get a lot for your money. It's worth it just for the fun!
