Review on ๐Ÿ”‘ Top-Rated Keyless Entry Remote Fob: Compatible with 2005-2009 4Runner โ€“ BestKeys Product Review by Gerardo Goodson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not easy to program, but FINALLY it works!

The key fob came without programming instructions. I googled the instructions and you would be surprised at how many different combinations there are to turn on the key, open and close the door etc etc. One reviewer was kind enough to provide instructions but we tried several times and it didn't work I don't work. I finally found another guide that worked the first time! The driver's door is open, the key has been removed from the ignition lock. Within 5 seconds: Insert and remove the key from the ignition switch twice. Within 40 seconds: close and open the driver's door twice. Insert and remove the key from the ignition switch. Within 40 seconds: close and open the driver's door twice. Put the key in the ignition switch and close the driver's door. Turn the ignition on and off once to program the remote control code while retaining the original codes, or twice to program the remote control code while erasing the original codes. Three times to check how many remote controls are currently registered, or five times to clear all registered codes. Remove the key from the ignition switch: the system should now lock and unlock the car one, two or five times depending on which mode was selected. One to four times slowly to show the number of remote transmitters registered. Within 40 seconds: Press and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously for 1.5 seconds - Within 3 seconds: Press the LOCK button. The system will now need to lock and unlock the car once to confirm registration and twice to indicate that registration failed. Within 40 seconds: Repeat the button operation to program the remaining fobs. NOTE: Exit programming mode: open driver's door. NOTE: A maximum of 4 remote controls can be programmed.
