It worked the first time. All buttons work as they should. The lock, unlock, panic and rear window button worked the first time and every time thereafter. I bought one for $9.99 that didn't work. They sent me a refund and I bought it for $2.51 more. What is the difference between two dollars and change?

We bought this remote for a 2007 Toyota 4Runner to replace a missing remote. The included instructions describe a bizarre programming process that involves you repeatedly opening and closing the door and inserting and removing the key from the ignition. I was amazed when the procedure worked from the first try. This inexpensive remote works great.

Works well. There is an online programming procedure without contacting the dealer. You have to open the door a certain number of times and do other things in a strict order, but it works. I'd suggest printing out the instructions like I did, or you can just go to the dealer with a full hand of 20's. I can't even tell which is the original FOB.

Very disappointed with this remote control. The installation worked as advertised and it didn't take long to pair with my machine. However, I have to press the unlock button about 10 times before it actually unlocks the car, and sometimes it doesn't work at all, completely defeating its purpose. I would caution against using them even though they are significantly cheaper than the OEM version.

The key fob came without programming instructions. I googled the instructions and you would be surprised at how many different combinations there are to turn on the key, open and close the door etc etc. One reviewer was kind enough to provide instructions but we tried several times and it didn't work I don't work.
