Review on Dioyano 1.8L Glass Electric Kettle - Boil-dry Protection, Auto Shut Off, Fast Boiling, Cordless Water Boiler - BPA Free by Paul Wilson

My only criticism of this kettle is that it doesn't really have temperature control. So if you want accurate temperatures, this might not be the kettle for you. I'm not that picky about temperature and I prefer the minimalist, simple features of this pot. I just fill it with water and put the pot on the base and after a few minutes I have boiling water. I also love the menacing blue glow it emits when it's turned on - it's actually quite attractive (to me) and lets me know the pan is on and working. I know I can wash the pot without worrying about the electric heating element getting wet or something shorting out. It takes a few minutes to heat up, but it's not too long and actually faster than heating water on my gas stove, so it works for me. I love making tea during the day and in the summer I love making giant pitchers of iced tea so this kettle is great for making it quick and easy. In fact, all you have to do is fill the pot with water, place it on the base and press the switch to turn it on. When not in use, the cord twists into the base for convenient storage in a storage closet. Overall I really like this pan. It's simple and easy. However, for true tea lovers it would be nice to have a temperature controller as different water temperatures will affect the taste of the brewed tea. But in the end it's easy for me to use and it works for me.
