Generally excellent product. Bright lights and unbeatable price for quantity. But it looks like they want to make these lights incredibly cool with 4927 different settings, from blinking to changing, from constant to fading and back again. - the list goes on - they caused the problem. We live in 2021 and so I planned to use a smart plug to easily set the lights on a schedule so they automatically turn on and off at the same time every day and I don't even have to think about it. So here's the problem: every time you turn the light off and on again, the default is the first pattern - blinking, fading, alternating, etc. Which might appeal to some people, but me and my home we only need solid glowing ones lights. No blinking etc. BUT it looks like I'll either have to get used to blinking, fading and blinking alternately OR every night when they appear, go outside with the included remote and set them to 'solid glow' " switch. ' which obviously contradicts the very purpose of creating a self-contained installation of Christmas lights. Not to mention the remote receiver box is on my roof so I'm standing in the middle of the lawn trying to connect so I can get through. I will not be returning them as I already have them installed in my house. I found out this problem. Just thought I'd share my experience in case this is a deal breaker for someone.
