Review on WAVLINK USB 3.0 Dual-Bay Hard Drive Docking Station - Supports SATA I/II/III (6Gbps) HDD/SSD - Offline Clone/Backup/UASP - 12TBx2 Capacity by Matt Eason

Works well but after a few weeks of ownership I had a few issues. I've inserted and removed drives maybe 10 times or less and the source compartment door fell out completely. It's not that big of a deal if I don't touch it while it's running I guess. However, last week I'm not sure if it was a problem with the dock or one of my computers. I ran disk recovery to find a lost document and both 3TB hard drives in the dock were corrupted and formatted from NTFS to RAW. Now I've spent the last 5 days figuring out what I had on that 6TB of storage and how to get it back. Definitely not a good experience. I ended up smashing that computer and if that ever happens again I know it was a dock and it too will be smashed and burned. It was incredibly exhausting and took a long time. Extremely annoying was the time I spent restoring my data, only to have it wiped from the dock on reboot or in the middle of a file transfer. I'm surprised I don't see any other complaints here, but it's definitely this docking station that is setting up my 3TB drives in RAW format.
