Garbage. What was that and where has it gone?

I put two hard drives in this dock. It quickly corrupted both of them to the point where my computer tried to tell me they needed to be "reformatted". With some time and effort I was able to get the drives working again with only *some* files permanently corrupted thanks to the Zero Assumps Recovery utility. The device was then thrown into a nearby trash can. It's been a while since I bought this, but I was reminded because I'm about to buy something similar (but actually working and not…

Works, but very risky. I'm disappointed.

Works well but after a few weeks of ownership I had a few issues. I've inserted and removed drives maybe 10 times or less and the source compartment door fell out completely. It's not that big of a deal if I don't touch it while it's running I guess. However, last week I'm not sure if it was a problem with the dock or one of my computers. I ran disk recovery to find a lost document and both 3TB hard drives in the dock were corrupted and formatted from NTFS to RAW. Now I've spent the last 5 days

So I bought several of these docks, 3 for myself and 5 for different customers. The HDD docking station works quite well. Built-in cloning also works fine, although you need to ensure that the "true" capacity of the destination disk is equal to or greater than the "true" capacity of the source disk. This is not always easy unless you are very familiar with the different drive models from different manufacturers. Luckily for me, that's not a problem, but your average Revain customer will likely…
