I put two hard drives in this dock. It quickly corrupted both of them to the point where my computer tried to tell me they needed to be "reformatted". With some time and effort I was able to get the drives working again with only *some* files permanently corrupted thanks to the Zero Assumps Recovery utility. The device was then thrown into a nearby trash can. It's been a while since I bought this, but I was reminded because I'm about to buy something similar (but actually working and not dangerous to your drives) and it showed up as a suggestion under "Previously Purchased". Thank you for that painful reminder, but at least I won't make the same mistake again.
