crappy mechanical fuel pumps
Installed on a Jeep 95 with a little block Chevy threw in. If it stays longer than a day, the fuel will drain back into the tank. And you would almost drain the battery by cranking it before finally igniting it. Put 3 different fuel pumps did not help. Valve installed about a foot from carburetor, pump depressed, pedal fires instantly 3 times even after a month of inactivity. I can only recommend the valve!
