Green Handled Compostable Compost Bags are a great bag set for lining a compost bin or juicer pulp container. The pockets are a little flimsy, but very durable. The bag was able to hold a lot of fruit during transit and I had no issues with the handles ripping, tearing or breaking. The only thing I would warn you about is don't let the bag hold wet or damp items for a long period of time. Time - I imagine it might break if sitting in liquid. Because they are made from cornstarch, these bags will degrade over time and should be safely stored in your backyard compost heap. I added one to my compost pile full of juicing shavings and slowly but surely the bag started to fall apart due to moisture and lots of worms. Although expensive, they're still a great alternative to plastic bags and I hope they continue to grow in popularity over time.
