The last one I had was dark brown and now it's clear. I only use drops on my 3 gallon tank. My fish seem happy and healthy and you can use them in your hydroponics without worrying about them swallowing any of your harvest. I wanted a much smaller bottle, but the small bottles had a $9 shipping fee, so I bought this one. I'll never have to redeem it because it's such a huge amount.
