It takes a little getting used to, but this slotted spoon is cool. It produces far less waste water and more actual waste than many skimmers, plus it's very easy to clean and maintain. I prefer the controller, but again it takes a little getting used to. A few important things to know about these skimmers. Upon arrival, the bubble hose may have come loose due to leaks. It only takes 2 minutes to fix this, but it won't work if it's not plugged in. Another thing is that during the time it WILL produce a ton of sewage, it's taking a break. Don't worry, you can handle it once you learn how to set it up.
