I wanted a more permanent setup for my Nebula Capsule projector instead of using a tripod. It's perfect for projectors in this weight range (mine is 1.6 pounds) and mounts easily with three screws. I decided to go straight to the woods to avoid using drywall anchors. The screws that came with it were very flimsy so I used my own screws in case I wanted to remount somewhere else. The only reason it doesn't give 5 stars is that the metal used is very fragile and you have to be careful not to hit it which can result in misalignment or worse, the stem snapping off the threads. The metal on the leg is very thin.
