First off, this thing works damn well. I was impressed. Comes nicely packaged in a cardboard box. The package included a monocular (telescope), a phone holder and a tripod. The monocular is lightweight, has very clear glass lenses and a good 1/4-20 thread on the bottom for mounting on a tripod. The included tripod is made of metal and makes a very robust impression. It has a 1/4-20 screw for attaching a monocular. It's not very high but provides a very strong and solid foundation. The phone holder is unique and well designed. It holds your phone with a spring-loaded grip. The case is soft so it won't damage your phone. The monocular then fits into a space that aligns the lens with your phone's camera. Minor adjustments can be made by loosening, adjusting and tightening the thumbscrews. I was impressed with the overall build quality of the device and accessories. Didn't expect this quality for the price. I have a lot of photography equipment and this device + my phone is the basic equivalent of my $600 camera and $750 telephoto lens! I went outside and did some practice shots. As you can see in my last photo I was about 30 feet from my backyard fence and was able to get a pretty good picture of the lizard. I think with finer settings I can get even better shots. I'd recommend trying this out if you're looking for a cheaper telephoto solution. I also put it in my bag for a walk yesterday and it was fun to take it out and check on distant birds and animals. My 9 year old nephew couldn't get enough of it when we got to the river. He explored, yelled and looked at herons and loons. If I mounted it on a tripod I think I could get some interesting shots of the moon.
