As a keen cyclist I was looking for a great light weight easy to use balance bike that my child could ride safely. He started riding alone on a cheap bike with 10-inch foam wheels at 18 months and tried others. Many of them have an aluminum or steel frame and land on the heavy side, making it difficult to feel secure. I stumbled across magnesium frame bikes, spent hours looking, stumbled upon this one and took a chance. Hands down is the best solution for him. This thing weighs <7 lbs, good air tires, great aluminum hubs and ball bearing wheels, a comfortable seat and a real clamp bike stem! Updates are easy! I highly recommend this bike if you are looking for the same. PS there is a bracket on the frame, on the brake side, my head is spinning how to fit a rear disc brake... 🤔 If the manufacturer reads this, is this a variant with a different rear wheel?
