I was disappointed and dissatisfied with the Personna Prep Double Edge Blades. I am a regular user of the Feather Double Edge and Astra DE blades. I find they give my beard a close, comfortable shave, but the Feather blades can be a bit too aggressive at times and I wish the Astra lasted a little longer. I've been wet shaving for over ten years. I bought Personna Preps because they were recommended to last longer and give me a close, comfortable shave. I wanted them to be between the Feder and Astra blades. So I downloaded the Rex Ambassador Adjustable and found the Personna Prep blades very uncomfortable and very annoying. After shaving, my face was rougher than usual and it felt like my sideburns were being pulled. The shave was close, but my face really burned. I found 35 cents per blade too expensive for an uncomfortable shave. Now I'm stuck at 99 blades that I'll never use again.
