The absolute HOTTEST!

THE SHARPEST blade you will find on the market! I bought 100 pieces, when I run out I will buy more. These are the ONLY blades I will buy from now on. In fact, if you are new to wet shaving, go for SHARK or any other brand and refine it. Rushing Personnas will cut/scratch themselves. Also, as a hint for a more advanced razor, grab a block of alum. Even if you don't hurt yourself, this will help soothe razor burn and tone your skin before you apply an aftershave. RazoRock makes a decent one.

Worth the premium price?

Bought them on YouTube recommendation and because they are made in the US (since someone who should know told me they are currently in the US) I'm sure that they work great for some, but not much for me. Try them, they might work great for you.

Pros
  • A sea of positive vibes

Desenchanted - Men's

I was disappointed and dissatisfied with the Personna Prep Double Edge Blades. I am a regular user of the Feather Double Edge and Astra DE blades. I find they give my beard a close, comfortable shave, but the Feather blades can be a bit too aggressive at times and I wish the Astra lasted a little longer. I've been wet shaving for over ten years. I bought Personna Preps because they were recommended to last longer and give me a close, comfortable shave. I wanted them to be between the Feder and…

Outstanding blades in every respect

There are so many different brands of blades. Most of them are fine, but there are probably half a dozen brands that really stand out from the crowd. These blades are amazingly sharp, smooth and comfortable. They provide a closer shave in fewer passes, which means less irritation. What else could you ask? Excellent product, worth the premium price if you have a few extras.

So many better alternatives out there

This Personna Med Prep draws a lot. On a medium-aggressive razor like the Merkur 34c, the blades are virtually useless for a #1 shave. The Mill R41 is no better off. They deliver mediocre performance at best with a very soft razor like the AS-D2 which I shave 23 times. Spring, Sunrise, Derby, Super Irididum. all work much better than these expensive drugs.

Best DE blade available

Best DE blade period. I have used Feathers along with many others and this blade stays sharper longer. I easily get 4 shaves before I even think about switching. While I'm not sure what they're doing with these blades, they're a level above. As a bonus, they are made right here in the USA. If the price makes you doubt, the Personna Blues isn't bad either. They don't stay as sharp as hospital blades, and I've had one that would have served better as a butter knife than a razor. I rank them in…

Excellent product and good value for money.

At $0.35 per blade, this is one of the most expensive DE blades. On the plus side is performance. I've just had my first week of shaving with the same blade (Muhle R89 razor) and I'm completely satisfied. Performance was way better than five other brands I've used. I get an extra shave or two per blade (depending on the brand I'm comparing to), so the extra cost isn't a one-to-one comparison. The performance combined with the "Made in USA" label on the label justifies the price. Compared to the

Double Razor Blades Personal Prep

These are the best blades I have ever used! They provide a close and close shave and after a week of use I can use them for a few more days. But not me because I change the blades once a week.

IMHO the best blades! good for shaving and hair removal

Have been using these blades since 2010. Having tried everything in the world including my second favorite 'Sunrise' blades I am very happy with them. Being large, these blades cut through my beard with ease. I strongly recommend you try them out. If 100 is too much to start with, check out a shaving forum and see if anyone will send you a pair for free or trade with someone. The razor community is very friendly and gentlemen are willing to help other gentlemen.

Pros
  • Looks great
Cons
  • No paint required
