At $0.35 per blade, this is one of the most expensive DE blades. On the plus side is performance. I've just had my first week of shaving with the same blade (Muhle R89 razor) and I'm completely satisfied. Performance was way better than five other brands I've used. I get an extra shave or two per blade (depending on the brand I'm comparing to), so the extra cost isn't a one-to-one comparison. The performance combined with the "Made in USA" label on the label justifies the price. Compared to the dual blade cartridge razors I've used in the past, this is a clear winner.
