Poor fit does not protect hands

I REALLY wanted to like these gloves. Their compostability was a compelling purchase factor as I really want to reduce my contribution to growing landfills that emit too much methane. My regular gloves were sold out (supply chain issues particularly affect personal protective equipment) but then I saw these eco-friendly gloves made by women. Yay, girl power! It seemed a simple matter. Unfortunately the gloves are too big for my hands and even wearing an elastic band around each wrist didn't help to keep these gloves in place or prevent water ingress. They're also very slippery, making washing up a pretty dangerous endeavour. I figured I'd just use them and then not buy them back, but I doubt I can even do that. Poor customization makes even basic tasks overly complex and inefficient. I think I'll stick with them and use them as a last resort if I run out of other gloves again and can't find a quick replacement. Overall 1 star for poor performance.
