Cheap Plastic
Electrical metal-to-metal pressure contacts will corrode and fail again. Expensive cheaply made plastic, but they're not sold at the best price anywhere. Badly designed. Difficult to install. The plastic rivets don't hold well, and the rivet behind the door switch lever can't be mounted tightly because of no space.
