Doesn't work on Mac OSX Lion

I bought an Amped UA2000 hoping to get a wireless connection with my Macbook Air (late 2010 model) that has Lion installed. Drivers for UA2000 installed correctly and sometimes wireless networks are shown but could never connect to a wireless network even if it was nearby. BTW I tried it on a windows pc and it works but no better than a wifi card on a pc. Not worth the money in my opinion.
