This Orbi Wi-Fi System is Awesome! We finally have reliable WiFi in every part of the house and never have to switch between networks. Plus, it was incredibly easy for us to set up the Orbi system—essentially plug-and-play. We have a long house, everything is on one level, and it has never been possible to get reliable end-to-end WiFi. For logistical reasons, our modem and router are at one end of the house and all of our entertainment devices (smart TV, Blu-ray player, DVR, etc.) are at the other end of the house. Also, the house was originally built in the early 1950's and was extended at both ends so the original part of the house has plastered walls in the middle. The only solution we could find was a WiFi "extender" placed in the middle of the house. However, depending on the location in the house, this required switching between two different networks in the house; and still had uneven coverage for entertainment devices, as the power strip still struggled to get the signal through the plastered walls. With the Orbi system, we have no problem placing a satellite device in a convenient spot, and now we have reliable and convenient WiFi in every part of the house. Thanks Orbi!
