It's always hard to tell if aftermarket consumables truly match the original parts. Filters, toner/ink cartridges, car parts. They call it. This is a substance that has too long a lifetime to be determined quickly and requires too much scientific equipment to actually quantify. What I can say is that they fit perfectly, feel well built, look almost identical and for the first two weeks of use seemed to work just as well as my original filter that came with the kit. I didn't notice any increase in noise levels as other reviewers have pointed out and I would be skeptical of those reports given what I know about how poorly people compare speakers. if it is not a direct comparison of AB; If there's some time between tests (which should be for changing the filter), we just can't make a fair comparison. and I very much doubt anyone will pull out their decibel meter to check it.
