Review on πŸ”§ Whitmor Supreme Leveling Feet 5-Tier Adjustable Chrome Shelving Unit with 350 lb Capacity per Shelf by Nicole Nelson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Sturdy blocks for almost the same price per square foot as thinner competitors. Prices vary, so expect penalties.

Bought 3 free standing steel screens from 2 manufacturers to fit 2 closets. Everything arrived in good condition, no defects or missing parts. Each had an extra pair of plastic bushings. Each unit was easy to assemble; all that was needed was a tape measure, a rubber mallet, and a torpedo level. The weight of all units was more than adequate for my basement living space. Whitmor Supreme shelves were stronger; with 1" diameter posts, thicker leveling hardware, thicker metal bushings and thicker plastic bushings. If I needed casters I would choose the Whitmor unit due to the thicker supports and leg/caster mounting screws. 5 stars. Brand Shelving S had posts with 3/4" diameter, thinner leveling hardware, thinner metal grommets, and thinner plastic grommets. 4 stars. Cost per square foot comparison for storage: Whitmor Supreme 5-Tier Steel Wire Shelving, 36"W x 14"D, $79.00/unit , $4.51/sq. ft. of storage. 30"W x 14"D five-tier S steel wire shelving, $65.00/unit, $4.46/sq. ft. of storage. The 5-tier units cost almost the same price per square foot of storage space which is why Whitmor gets 5 stars because they are more durable units for almost the same price.per square foot.
