This review is for the Amcrest SmartHome AI Human Detection Wi-Fi Camera, ASH21-W. In this price range, the price-performance ratio is excellent. The image and video resolution is clear. You have options to record to cloud, SD card, NVR or phone app. Including wall bracket. PTZ is slightly more responsive than previous models. Night vision is also better than previous models. It tracks all movements, so make sure you need this feature. You can set motion detection zones if you just want to track within the field of view, although I haven't tried that. In my case I disabled motion detection because the alerts were driving me crazy for where I have them, but if I put it in a room with less movement that would be great. In addition, you can set up a schedule for motion detection. It would be great to only install it at night when you don't want movement in certain spots. I noticed that the motor is a bit noisy when tracking on video recordings. It really doesn't bother me much. I had a bit of a setup issue, not realizing that this can only be configured through the Amcrest Smart Home app. Once I figured it out (reading is important, I know), setup was easy. I was able to set up the camera as a P2P camera in the Amcrest View Pro app where I have other cameras. I was also able to set up the camera on my Amcrest NVR. I recommend this camera especially for those who want to record and control the camera in the cloud.
