So I bought this unit to add to my pressure washer. It was pretty easy to install. I also have a water hardness meter. My TO was around 268 ppm, which is hard water (best in Southern California). Upon installation and first use, my reading was 6ppm. YES 6ppm. wow i was happy But the double filter system was only enough for a few washes. After 3 washes my readings were over 120ppm and my DI resin was ugly orange and "spent". On the fourth wash I went back to 200ppm. It's a waste of money when it only lasts a few washes at best and I need new resin filters every month ($30-$40 per refill). I can return it and get a more expensive but more durable device.
