Revainrating 4 out of 5

Take a chance, get what you pay for

I was looking for a pair of inexpensive Bluetooth headphones for use in the park and to work/weekdays. They had to have ear hooks (otherwise the right one would fall out any minute or so). As I kept scrolling, I saw this item with no name - regular price $19.99 with a $5 discount coupon. Zero product or seller ratings. But played by Revain/Prime. Don't expect deep bass or other types of bass. The sound is the same as any $9.00 wired headphone. The battery completed its first charge out of the box in about half an hour. How much time I actually get, how much to use remains to be seen. It connected immediately and my phone (via the BT screen) tells me how much battery life is left. The ear hooks are flexible rubber, which is comfortable, but I don't know how much abuse they can take. I used the smallest earbuds and while they fit, they were extremely uncomfortable. Ears hurt after five minutes of use (no exaggeration). I need to replace them with one of the many pairs I have lying around. The cable is very short. I found it odd that the volume rocker (which also fast forwards and rewinds your songs) is upside down. This will take some getting used to. I also have to remember to physically turn it off (it doesn't turn itself off). It comes with a round carrying case that looks and feels cheap. I don't expect the zipper to last long. It doesn't matter, I have other cases I can use. This review will be updated once I get a chance to use the kit for a full few days and see how the battery performs. Addendum: The battery works well. The British accented female voice used for status announcements is hilarious. The range is ridiculous. In the best case. I got up from my booth, turned the corner, passed two more booths. He walked out the door, turned the corner, and barely stuttered down the short hallway. Then I realized I had left my cell phone on the table. I walked all the way back and forth, not exactly stuttering. I exited the office through another door, walked down the hall, and made my way to another office space before it started falling. My dear beats can't do that. Not even close. I gave back a star for that.

Pros
  • ENJOY LONGER PLAYTIME: Enjoy up to 10 hours of talk/audio time on a single 2-hour charge, enough for any ride or workout. A glance at your phone shows you the remaining battery life of your headphones. (Note: Use the included charging cable to charge the headphones)
Cons
  • Amazing price
