After reading about the harmful effects of ordinary towels on hair, I immediately started looking for a microfiber towel or a hair band in the turban- style to dry my hair. . Especially since I wash my hair every day. I was very excited to make and receive this purchase. Upon opening the packaging, I was pleasantly surprised by the incredible softness and softness of the material. I didn't expect that from microfiber. Feels and looks more like fleece. It's quite large - 25 5/8" x 9 7/8". It works well for both long and short hair. I tried it the same day I received it and I liked it. After getting out of the shower, I coiled my hair and fastened the button at the back of my head. I left it on for about 10-20 minutes before opening it to feel my hair dry. My hair wasn't completely dry, but I definitely felt heavy in the wrapper. It absolutely absorbed a large percentage of the moisture from my hair and my hair retained its moisture. I was very surprised. I left it on for a while longer and my hair still wasn't completely dry. It was just damp, so I let my hair air dry for the rest of the evening. I'm sure if I left it overnight it would dry my hair completely. Drying my hair completely is not a big problem for me because I wash my hair in the evening and only style it the next morning. . However, it will be a big problem if I wash my hair before going outside. Still, I will wrap my hair in it for as long as possible and then blow dry it in a cool place. The benefits of using this hair band far outweigh the inconveniences it can cause. This turban is also great if you use masks or scrubs and don't want them getting on your hair. I have already ordered a double pack in purple and blue. for my two daughters. I will definitely be packing them for any future vacations and sleepovers. I give it 4 stars because it doesn't "quickly" dry the hair, which is one of its advertising virtues.
