We've used a variety of quick drying towels over the years (you've got an Irish dancer performing in 90% humidity and heat, you KNOW quick drying towels). This one came out right from the start - the smell was so strong we had to let it air out for 2 days before we even thought of using it. After the first warm water rinse it really got smoother. I was hoping to leave it in the car but keeping it moist in a plastic container in the car was too much for our wet weather so after a single use at the beach it went back in for home use. It worked well with the drain, but the teen wasn't impressed with the feel, preferring to use it on the car when washing by hand.
