Airhead Quick Dry Towel: Perfect for Beach, Swimming, Boating, and More! Review

This super absorbent and compact towel is great for many outdoor activities. When you first open it, you will smell a chemical odor that can be very strong, so air it out before using. But it works as advertised. When dry it becomes stiff and when wet it becomes pliable and usable. And it will hold a ton of water. It definitely comes in handy at the beach, boating or anywhere you need to dry off.

Imagine wiping your wetsuit while you run. This is what the thing looks like. I bought this for my husband who runs ultras down south in the summer. For those living in the northern United States, this requires some adjustment! We tried many ways to cool down so I wanted to try this towel. It feels wet and sticky. That's the best way to describe it. My husband didn't like using it so we'll probably donate it to our group to avoid buying anything.

This is a replacement for the same type of towel I have used to dry my car after washing for the past 10 years. It is super absorbent and leaves the surface free from streaks or stains. You squeeze it out when it's saturated and keep using it until you're done. I find that the best way to get rid of streaks or stains is to "hit" the entire towel onto the surface and then peel it off. I find that wiping with a towel doesn't give the same results. Definitely recommend for drying cars!

I am very impressed with the versatility of this airhead towel. It can be used for water storage and worn around the neck to cool off after a walk outdoors, at the beach to absorb water, or you can use it as a car towel/suede. These types of towels are very convenient as they absorb moisture well but dry quickly so you don't have a huge wet terry towel lying around.
