Very good choice of budget chair for home office

I did a lot of research before buying this chair because I work from home and sit about 8-10-12 hours a day. The chair out of the box might look a little intimidating with all its parts, but it is very easy to put together. Take all the pieces out of the box and place them on the floor. The instruction manual is inside the seat cushion packaging, look for it first. Start with step 1 and complete it. I took my time, checked everything, but all the details are clearly marked. Base legs, leave small plastic studs on the ends of the stirrups when inserting them. I think they are like a cushion or gasket to allow the metal parts to sit squarely on the base. For the armrest pieces, make sure you place the large silver disk outwards so the left and right sides line up properly. It's easier if you balance the back piece on the drawer while placing the armrests on top. Note that the base plate that attaches to the seat of the chair is marked "FRONT" so make sure you set it up that way. Should have checked before screwing in the screws. It's very comfortable when I first sit in the thickly padded seat, which is a big change from the nearly 30-year-old chair I had before. I've got a few more hours of work to do tonight, let's see how it goes. I have seating issues so a separate gel pad is coming soon but for now I'm using another old pad. I also put my old lumbar pillow in here for support. The instructions say you can email the company a free lumbar pillow for me to do. I haven't set it to rock or recline yet, but I need to sit up straight for work, so I probably won't be using this feature very often. It's extremely convenient that the armrests extend to the back of the chair as I don't use them very often. All in all, this is a good chair and worth the money.
