This press is really easy to use. I used to have glass but it ended up cracking. This stainless steel is much stronger. While it heats up on the outside, the handle doesn't. I messed up and used finely ground coffee. This will give you a ground that will pass through the strainer and into your coffee. I used coarse grounds and this keeps the grounds from getting into my coffee. Not only was the flavor more pronounced, but the coffee itself is much stronger when I use it on a regular coffee pot. I love getting it as hot or not as hot as I prefer rather than as hot as the pot dictates. Can be a little tricky to clean but I soak and rinse the mesh in soapy water which makes it a lot easier to clean.
