I dyed my hair purple a few months ago and while it was beautiful it completely ruined my hair. Ever since then my hair has been breaking out in clumps and not even holding the color anymore. , dyed hair. I saw someone talking about this Apogee 2-Step Hair Strengthening Kit and was immediately intrigued. But some of the reviews were downright scary! I decided to buy it for myself and made a short YouTube video to help you decide if this product is right for you. In short, here is how to use the product: 1. First you need to wash your hair and towel dry it.2. Then apply Apogee Step 1. It comes out very quickly and is REALLY slimy. It reminded me of egg yolks or snail tracks.3. Then you leave it on your hair for a few minutes. I was afraid my hair would fall out so I washed it after 6 minutes. It never got difficult like some reviewers said, so I wasn't sure I was doing it right. Then apply step 2 and leave it on for 2 minutes.5. Finally rinse off the product. When I was done, I noticed that almost all of the color was washed off the bleached parts of my hair. In fact, I was so upset that I thought the product was a huge flop. To be honest I only washed it before the clarifying shampoo - that might be the main reason why the color was stripped. The fur was probably the result of both. But after a few hours my hair really got softer. It got a lot better as the day went on. It was so strange! When I later went to comb, the hair became less. I've also noticed less hair fall in subsequent washes! Does the product do what it is supposed to and makes the hair stronger? I would say yes! But it's made for those of us who have seriously toasted hair. And this straw hair has yet to be cut off eventually, but it should give me a chance to let it grow out a bit before having to cut it off. I think people writing about their hair loss may not have the same harm that Aphogee was designed for. However, make sure to use it for a day or two before planning to color or chemically treat your hair. Don't let what happened to me happen to you!
