Plastic products are the cheapest, most fragile, most flexible things I've ever tried to use. Decent scissors. For my hand and surprisingly sharper than I expected. But thinning scissors are garbage. Not sharp so it just tears your hair and leaves frizzy split ends. I cut my hair and then thinned it to thin out the bottom 2 inches so it wasn't just a blunt cut. I ended up having to cut off another 3 inches to get rid of the mess. Skip this set and just buy a decent set at a higher price OR ruin your hair, your choice! I give 2 stars because the scissors are good.
