I ordered these charcoal bags to purify the air in my small apartment after receiving a new love seat that smelled so awful I couldn't be near it without already to talk about sitting on it (due to formaldehyde gases). These little bags solved the problem in 24 hours. I accidentally ordered more than I intended so I used the extra bags in the bathroom and a couple of toilets that smelled stuffy. I will continue to use them regularly throughout my apartment because they really do help with the smell that is so typical of small apartments, especially in winter when the doors and windows are closed. Works much better than any spray or incense sticks.
