Review on Staedtler Combo Circle Template 977 110: Achieve Perfect Circles with Precision and Versatility by Roberta Berg

As an engineer who did a lot of hand drawing in college (before CAD was introduced), I am very familiar with the Staedtler brand. I still have most of the drawing tools I used in college. Apparently I lost my old circle template and of course I decided to use this one from Staedtler. I was very disappointed. It comes with those little bumps or nubs on the back that are meant to lift the stencil off the paper to "prevent smudging". I find them quite annoying and unnecessary. I should have read the reviews as these bumps are not mentioned in the description. Also, I have tried in vain to find these patterns on the Staedtlers website to see if there is an acne free version, but there is no reference to the patterns on their US or International websites! Wonderful! Are they out of the template business or just don't know how to build the right website? Not what I expected from a former key player in technical drawing.
