Staedtler Combo Circle Template 977 110: Achieve Perfect Circles with Precision and Versatility Review

This is the only brand of stencil I will be using. The edges are smooth throughout and the brand is trustworthy. It arrived good and fast.

I don't like bumps that seem more like a solution in search of a problem. If I had known they were added I would have bought a different brand.

Received it for rolling cigars. Much cheaper than buying a ring gauge. It's 64 to an inch and all the ones I've seen are rolled into cigars.

It does the job I bought it for but the thickness of the stencil is very thin. It's probably fine on paper, but I use it to mark golf balls!

As an engineer who did a lot of hand drawing in college (before CAD was introduced), I am very familiar with the Staedtler brand. I still have most of the drawing tools I used in college. Apparently I lost my old circle template and of course I decided to use this one from Staedtler. I was very disappointed. What else can I say besides yes? This circle template is just what you need for repeated and accurate drawing. you guessed circles. Works great for this purpose.

I am very satisfied with this template. The material is thin, pliable plastic, meaning it won't break. The cuts of the circles are fairly even, without bumps and notches. I have another brand of pencil that has a small bulge in almost every circle that makes it impossible to draw an even circle. And I'm glad the seller made sure to ship it in a box.

Poor quality makes the product unusable, impacts tear the stencil too hard from the paper to use it precisely. I have an old Staedtler round template (same model number) that has minor bumps with flat contact surfaces. Many of the bumps on the new template are also pierced above the text, making it unreadable. It is not advisable to turn the stencil over, apart from the numbers being reversed, the plastic stencil has a matte side which will blur the text. This new sample template is a disgrace…
