I've tried the gloves at various driving speeds and can give excellent feedback on how well they worked and how well they didn't. Driving temp 40, at 75 mph which would make 23 degrees, the gloves failed after 20 minutes of driving. Ride temp 55, at 75 mph which gives you 40 degrees, a glove helps a lot. The construction of the glove is a bit tight and certainly can be longer to cover your jacket that you are wearing. I think motorcycle gloves have to keep the wind off the jacket. I ordered a large but I think I should have ordered an X-Large but then the fingers might be longer than necessary. I ski all year round unless the conditions get unbearable. I have heated gear, but I don't want to carry all that for a 10 mile commute to work. Thought they would be good for it, but not in the state they are in now. Overall, I wouldn't ride them in temperatures below 55. The material is great but the design may need more adjustment to cover the sleeves of the jacket.
