I have a complete silver cutlery service for 12 with matching mahogany box. I had the rare opportunity to purchase an additional set of 12 table knives (not sharp) and didn't want another box no matter how good it was. This was an option and there is another from the same manufacturer which is a 'box' fabric with zips all the way around, built in slits etc. I'm so glad I went with this easier option. All of my 9 inch knives fit great, but would be great for a variety of random portions, different lengths, etc. They don't skimp on the amount of fabric to fold, meaning even the longest knives can be accommodated. It takes up minimal space in the drawer when everything is inserted, folded, tied.. If I add anything else, I'll just take another one - I can't think of anything better for my purpose.
