These were the first knee pads I've bought since I started CrossFit in December 2016. I noticed severe pain in my knee after 7 months of heavy WOD and (lately) running 2-3 miles 1-2 times a day regularly. week, so I wanted to do something to help. I started wearing them for runs and during all my WODs (and warm ups) and noticed a significant difference in pain levels. These sleeves appear to be of good quality. They're more like socks than anything and while they don't feel very tight when you put them on, you can feel the compression the moment you stand up. The only downside I've noticed so far is that they have a very unpleasant chemical smell. I've tried washing them and letting them air dry but it's still weak. It might go away after a few washes.
