This is a great tool for quick towball and hitch alignment. The clear, wide-angle view displayed on the screen allows you to get the job done from the comfort of your cab, look around, come back, set your truck, come back to check you're in it, etc. My only complaint is that the magnet doesn't is as effective as it could be for mounting the camera to the tailgate. There are two reasons for this: 1. The magnet is weak.2. The magnet aligns horizontally to gravity when you attach it to a vertical tailgate. The contact area of the magnet becomes too narrow compared to the downward force of gravity, causing the camera to fall onto the pavement on a bump. However, there is a simple solution, as well as another positive point. Report. First the solution: I bought two strong bar magnets and glued them to the weaker magnet with Gorilla Glue. I aligned them at right angles to the supplied magnet. Now they are holding up really well. Now for the positives: as you'll probably do at some point when you buy this device, the other day I left with the camera still out the back door. It will surely fall down at some point in your journey and as I retraced my path to find the mutilated remains of a camera I was amazed to find it across the street, very scarred. lifted but still fully functional. As the Timex ads said, "You should have licked it and it's still ticking."
