Review on 🎢 Victrola 4-in-1 Bluetooth Turntable with FM Radio: Farmhouse Oatmeal Design by Adam Matthews

Looks good - doesn't play

I'll get rid of that in a moment. I'm not a beginner, I'm just discovering vinyl. I'm in my 60's and have and still play records (vinyl) on an old Technics SL1300 turntable. This is the second Victrola "suitcase" turntable that I have bought in the last 6 months for my 16 year old daughter's introduction to vinyl. It is also the second who will not play without gaps. This happens with both old and brand new records that play perfectly on my 40 year old turntable. I tried the old trick of putting a dime/penny/nickel/quarter on the arm. It does not matter. I understand and didn't expect a $50 or $100 turntable to sound like my Technics even when connected to quality speakers. However, I expected him to play without gaps. I've tried contacting Victrola many times but never received a reply even though the original player was still under warranty. Victrola was once a respected brand. No longer. I will never buy from them again and would warn others against this. Two stars for aesthetics - zero stars for quality and customer service.

Pros
  • Turntable and accessories
Cons
  • Very expensive
